Why do I have to get a number sent to My email to comment? LOL!
Thankfully, I have zero money, so any scammers are SOL. But it does point to one of a myriad unEthical things money systems allow and promote.
No One would be scamming (or buying things and People to psychopathic agendas) if We did not need money to all live richly on Our planet - as We should be doing. We each own a share of the wealth here, but the moneyed psychopaths in control on Our planet (by virtue of money) put Our share into Cestui Que Vie "trusts" with Them as "trustees..."
Money, the foundational function of which is accounting for Our energy added into a system, is an archaic tool, but of course, those moneyed psychopaths in control on Our planet (by virtue of money) avidly hide and suppress the tech than makes it so.
When We get free energy tech out in the open, money will fall to disuse in about 10 years, I estimate. Scammer problem (and a huge list of other problems!) solved! I go into it a bit more here:
scammer calls on both cell and landline phones are also a problem. one of my cousins in the Midwest got a missed call that was made to look as if if originated from my city in California and she that was me but it wasn’t.
Telephone number spoofing using unassigned numbers? That's been around so long that you'd think people would know. I have blockers on our "land lines" (VOIP) and my cell phone that work sometimes, and lately those calls seem to have mysteriously ceased altogether.
A year or so ago I intervened when my housemate received a scam Medicare call and was mid-sentence in giving out an ID number (I forget exactly what). I interrupted, knowing that Medicare would never request that information over the phone. She didn't know.
I occasionally receive scam emails impersonating Microsoft that are really good. On the surface everything checks out except the nature of the message, and I have to dig down into the email headers to see what the scammers have done.
For years I have been using an identity protection service that I like, that also keeps me up to date on the latest scams. I was receiving it free, however, as a benefit of two other paid services, one of which was my car insurance. But I no longer have a car to insure. I would have thought that they would offer to continue as a paid service, but instead my login fails unexpectedly and tells me to contact my insurance agent who is no longer my agent. I want that service back! And without having to set it up all over again from scratch.
We're past the full moon, so maybe the login will start working again. (Old software developer's joke: code that works or doesn't depending on the phase of the moon.)

I screen all calls and don’t pick up the phone anymore unless expecting a call at predetermined date/time.
it is out of control, the number of scammers.
