It's playing over and over again in my head, and I didn't even sing with the choir. Lovely.

We have a lineup for the remaining weeks of the season that includes Dan Forrest's _We Believe_, _I Love You Lord_, and _Shout to the Lord_, all favorites of mine. I have the latter two for easy or intermediate piano, and I've been looking for songs to memorize (because I can't see the piano sheet music clearly). I think I just found two.

Well, that sounds like a plan. You seem to have the ability to keep on with your talents inspite of your eyesight. My father became blind in his early 40s and was able to keep doing his favorite activities like gardening and with adjustments his carpentry.

This body arrived as damaged goods. Life's been interesting, and definitely different. I love the piano (mine is a Yamaha electronic piano from 20 years ago, that features a floppy disk drive). It doesn't love me as much, and playing from memory has always worked better, from the time I took my one and only piano class in college.

My friend that I like to red-pill, by the way, has become the principal organist at our church. We have one other organist left after the 2021 cull (and the departure of our interim worship pastor last year) but my friend got the red pill treatment instead, safe and effective, from me. He was the choir accompanist at our previous church, which had dumped its organ to make more room on stage, and I didn't even know he had played that too. I also caught him playing bells once here, during rehearsal, when there was an vacant position (someone couldn't come). And then there was him fiddling around playing Chopin etudes from memory on the practice upright, and getting upset if he missed a note. I haven't let him forget about that.

I have not much musical talent myself, although I've been reading music since I was 11 (if I could just see) and I understand much of the technical stuff, but I've never been surrounded by so much talent as there is here.
