The tg.far2go.net software was recently updated, and the anonymous comments feature seems to be working again. If you hesitated leaving comments because you didn't want to have to register and log in, wait no longer.
If you have experience with groups, services, or other things listed here, we would really like to hear from you. Your comments help other people find what they are looking for. Some sections, such as "Events," don't have comments. You can still comment about the group that hosts an event, if it is listed, by clicking on the link at the beginning of the event listing. You can also leave private comments for me. I review all comments before publishing them on the website. I do publish every comment unless it is private or inappropriate.
If you are in a hurry, though, or don't feel comfortable with writing a comment, you can still help by "rating" things. It's quick, painless, and anonymous. While reading a listing, just select a button from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Best) and click "Rate."
You are also invited to submit new articles for the website. You can write about groups, upcoming events, and services that don't yet appear here. You can also ask for your own blog in the "Blogs" section. To use these features, you will need to register with the website, and you may need to tell me that you are interested. If you see the "Submit Article" link in the User Menu when you are logged in, you already have access to write your own articles. They will normally go to me for review before publishing.
On another note, I have recently been updating the "Local Events" section. Some new events have been added for which I did not have information before, and a few events have been removed. Every item in this section appears in the events rotation in the upper right hand corner of this website's home page, and I want to make sure that these events are useful to know about and enjoyable to attend. I rely upon feedback from you to decide what to include.
All active local groups that I know about are listed in the Local Groups section, whether or not they are included in Local Events.Â
